(For additional Clean Up Opportunities, go here: Earth Day
9 a.m. to Noon)

Volunteers are treated to free refreshments, raffle prizes and chair massage from local Emeryville businesses

Bring your own re-usable water bottle (filled if possible), coffee cup, collection bag or bucket, garden/protective gloves, and garden digging-claw. Wear sunscreen, hat, layered clothing and sturdy shoes.

Location: Next to the Fire Station at 2333 Powell Street, across from the Watergate Market

Want to help every day?  Picking up pieces of trash in your neighborhood is a great way to keep plastic out of our waterways. Bag flying by in the breeze? Catch it! Wrapper stuck in a bush? Pull it out! Bring a bag with you on walks to collect pieces of trash. Storms wash this trash down into the water ways. Wildlife are endangered or killed by this debris.
