All property owners in the City of Emeryville, both commercial and residential, are expected to maintain their property in a condition that is not in conflict with the City’s Municipal Code. Title 6, Chapter 11 (Property Maintenance) of the emeryville Municipal Code list conditions that are considered to be unlawful property nuisances. Some examples of violations are: buildings that are not in compliance with the City’s Building Code; parking in the front yard setback; and the accumulation and storage of items within public view.
