The annual Shoreline Cleanup is a great way to celebrate Earth Day. Every year, the community comes together to cleanup trash along the Emeryville shoreline. Cleanup tools (trash grabbers, trash buckets, and gloves) are always provided, and everyone of all ages is welcome!

The Bicycle/Pedestrian Advisory Committee provides input and recommendations regarding City policies, priorities and feedback related to the City’s Bicycle/Pedestrian Plan and related initiatives.

The Budget and Governance Committee provides input and recommendations regarding City policies and priorities, as well as assist the City Council as a whole in providing oversight to matters related to the City’s budget, investment policy, and governance, including information technology.
The City Council is the legislative body responsible for setting city policy. The Council holds regular meetings the first and third Tuesdays each month with a recess in August.
