The Emeryville Commission on Aging (COA) receives input from the senior center membership and other individuals/organizations on issues relevant to the senior citizen community. The COA advocates for senior citizen issues within the entire community.

Friends of the Emeryville Senior Center
“The Friends” advise staff on the delivery of various senior citizen and recreational events and programs managed through the Senior Center. The Friends also coordinate and execute a variety of fund raising events. These funds are used for members of the center who need financial assistance and purchasing equipment for the center. The Friends also provide feedback to staff on the assessment of current program offerings and future needs of the senior community.
